COMPETITION CLASSES IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please note that it is compulsory for students enrolled in Competition at beginning Ballet 1 & up and above to also be enrolled in a Acrobatics class. Dance Competition require Dance knowledge to be effective, therefore, students must either be enrolled in a Dance class at Chu's Dance or study Dance elsewhere in order to take Ballet and Acrobatics. This does not apply to Tiny Tumblers or Acrobatics as these are non-performing recreational classes. Acrobatics classes DO NOT PERFORM IN THE CONCERT.

Terms & Conditions

TUITION & FEES:

(a) CHOREOGRAPH FEES: The solo, duet/Trios dance choreograph fee is $350. More than 2 dancers choreograph fee is $400-500. The base price $350 + each hour session $40-50 for solo. For duet, Trios and group each dancer will be $35-45 per each hour lesson. For example: If a solo dance class takes 4 hours to complete. That will be $350+($40x4)=$510 total for the solo dance class tuition. If it take more than 10 sessions, the solo rehearsal fee is $50 per hour after the 10th session.

Solo $350 (Choreography) + 400 ( 10 hours rehearsals ) $500 ( after first 10 hours rehearsals )

Duet $200 ( Choreography per ppl ) + $350 (10 hours rehearsals per ppl)

Trio $150 ( Choreography per ppl ) + $350 (10 hours rehearsals per ppl)

Foursome $125 ( Choreography per ppl ) + $350 (10 hours rehearsals per ppl)

(b) Anyone doing competition is Required to be enrolled in Tumbling and Ballet or Pointe Classes.

(c) Competition entry fees will vary for each competition but generally run between $100-$300 per solo & $100-$150 per dancer/ per duo or trio.

(d) We do our best to keep the cost of costumes reasonable while still presenting a professional look for stage. Costumes can vary between $80-$300 depending on how elaborate you would like to go.

(e) Cancellation of a Scheduled Competition Lesson: We require 24 hours notice if you need to cancel a scheduled competition lesson. Charges could be incurred for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
